Description: Condition where the pelvic organs (bladder, uterus, rectum) descend and protrude into the vagina due to weakness of the pelvic floor.

Menstrual Disorders

Description: They include amenorrhea (absence of menstruation), dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), menorrhagia (heavy bleeding).

Symptoms: They depend on the specific disorder and may include pain, irregular cycles, excessive bleeding.

Menopause

Description: Permanent cessation of menstruation and fertility, usually between ages 45 and 55.

Symptoms: Hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, mood swings, weight gain and decreased libido.
